Urban couriers and load-luggers of Ireland rejoice, for the new Opel Corsavan is here, and it's a massive improvement on the old one.
Certianly the civillian Corsa is one of the best small hatchbacks around, so we're assuming that the rather racy-looking van version will be just as good, with sharp handling and a high-quality interior.
Prices start at €14,995 and there's a choice of 1.2-litre 80bhp petrol or 1.3-litre 75bhp diesel. The diesel is the one to go for, as in spite of its lower bhp figure, it has the turbocharged oomph to make mincemeat of BMWs on the motorway, which is van man's favourite sport.
Load weight is up by 80kg to 550kg and there's an optional fold-away security cover to keep prying eyes off your precious things.
