Super-Caddy On Hold

A proposed range-topping model for Cadillac, based on the awesome Sixteen concept (above) and featuring a 7.2-litre V12 engine has been put on hold while GM waits to see what the US Government is going to do on enforced fuel economy levels.

President Bush's administration is considering placing stringent new laws on average fuel economy, and GM product honcho Bob Lutz wants to wait and see just how tight the new regulations are going to be before proceeding with the plan.
